Using a variety of media, strategies and processes, workshops are designed to engage your learners, honouring what they bring to the learning and building on from where they are at. Professional learning is not done 'to you'. Instead, it is done with you and by you. My role as facilitator is to promote this learning and support you to reach your goals and outcomes.

To provide coaching to an experienced principals PLG through the Auckland University 2009-2010 Experienced Principals Development Programme (EPD@UACEL).

Leadership Coach

Working over 2010 in a series of after school workshops:

to develop the capacity of leaders to identify the strengths and weakness of their team and provide next steps
to understand the impact of their own leadership style of others and adapt and grow their own capabilities
to develop administrative practices which allow leadership to grow and thrive, at the same time as they run effective class programmes
to develop protocols and practices which allow for productive classroom observation and feedback
to hold constructive and possibly difficult conversations with team members, in a positive and supportive environment

Professional support

CPPA Presenter at the annual Two Day Seminar

Facilitated over two days with local Christchurch based Principals four interactive workshops providing skills and knowledge around site based coaching, critical friends, tackling tough conversations and polarity management

Enterprise Facilitator

A six month role working closely with five secondary schools in Christchurch support implementation of Enterprise learning and teaching

Facilitate Bus Tours (both North and South Island)

Both the facilitation of the tours plus scaffolding the processes with eLeaders so that they may continue to lead bus tours over 2010 for others in their cluster of community schools

EHSAS and ICTPD Cluster Facilitator

Facilitated a number of tailor made workshops to principals, eLeaders and leadership teams

Critical Friend

Provided support for identification of key workshop speakers for the CPPA local conference, co-wrote end of project research reports, co-wrote end of project milestone reports, hosted 2009 Art of Facilitation for Joan Dalton and David Anderson
