The fellowship recognises those teachers who are already leaders in utilising e-learning in their schools and enables them to have professional development in this area to futher their understanding and share their knowledge.

e-Learning fellows have presented and disseminated their research findings at conferences such as Learning at School (Rotorua), Navcon (Christchurch and Bendigo, Australia), ULearn (Auckland and Christchurch), TUANZ tours and Microsoft Innovative Educators (Singapore and Korea) since 2004.
